Common faults and maintenance methods of disinfection cabinet main control board

The main control board is the brain of the disinfection cabinet, and various abnormal operations of the equipment are mostly caused by circuit aging, poor contact and component damage on the control board. Mastering common faults and targeted maintenance methods can quickly restore normal use and extend service life.

The most common failure is that the whole machine cannot be powered on after switching on. First check whether the external power supply and power cord are normal, then detect the fuse and rectifier components on the control board. Burned-out fuse and damaged voltage stabilizing chip are the main causes. Replace damaged accessories and clean loose wiring terminals to restore power supply normally.

Another frequent problem is key failure and insensitive touch operation. Long-term humid environment will lead to key circuit oxidation and poor signal conduction. It is necessary to wipe the key circuit area with dry cleaning agent, remove surface oxide layer and dust, and replace aging key switches if the response is completely invalid.

The disinfection mode cannot be switched or fixed in single working state, which is usually caused by program confusion or single-chip microcomputer signal disorder. Cut off the power supply for static reset first. If it still fails, check the peripheral signal circuit of the main control chip, eliminate virtual welding and short circuit phenomena, and rewrite control programs when necessary.

Automatic shutdown occurs frequently during operation without reaching the set time. This fault is mostly related to abnormal temperature detection circuit. Detect the aging and drift of temperature sensor, check whether the sensing line is in poor contact, replace the failed temperature probe, and calibrate the temperature control parameters to avoid wrong over-temperature protection.

The cabinet door is closed tightly but the equipment cannot start working, which belongs to the failure of door control protection circuit. Check whether the door switch sensing circuit is open-circuited or short-circuited, adjust the sensing induction position, repair disconnected signal lines, and ensure that the control board can correctly identify the closed state of the cabinet door.

The display screen does not light up or the digital display is disordered. Focus on checking the display driving circuit and power supply wiring of the display module. Loose plug-in terminals and damaged driving triodes will cause abnormal display. Reconnect the wiring firmly and replace damaged driving components.

Individual disinfection functions fail to start while other modes work normally. It means there is a fault in the independent load driving circuit. Check the relay and triode responsible for controlling ultraviolet lamp, ozone generator and heating tube, replace burnt-out driving parts, and eliminate strong current loop short circuit hidden dangers.

The control board works normally in short time but fails after heating. It is caused by poor high temperature resistance of internal components. Optimize the heat dissipation environment of the control board, stay away from high-temperature heating parts, replace high-temperature resistant electronic elements, and avoid component failure caused by thermal expansion.

Circuit short circuit and board surface burnout are caused by humid water vapor infiltration. In daily maintenance, keep the installation position of the control board dry and ventilated, regularly clean condensed water and oil stains on the board surface, and do a good job in moisture-proof and insulation treatment to prevent corrosion damage to the circuit board.

In daily use and maintenance, regular inspection of welding spots, wiring and electronic components of the main control board is essential. Timely eliminate hidden troubles such as virtual welding, aging and moisture, standardize power-on and operation habits, which can effectively reduce the failure rate of the disinfection cabinet control board and ensure long-term stable operation of household disinfection equipment.
